I’ve never heard this one before, but it spoke diffferently to me: “If you break the mug, the coffee wil be spilled” –that is, “Don’t kill the goose that laid the golden egg” OR “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you” OR “Take care of those who are important to you”

    1. Interesting take on this proverb. However, for me it says, “If the mug is not broken (nuh mug nuh bruk) , the coffee will not spill. It is not a very bad outcome, and we can still fix the issue. There is hope! Happy New Year!

  2. This actually means that no harm came as a result of an incident that occurred or a mistake that was made. …like saying “no harm,no foul” or “the end justifies the means”..
